Can you believe we are already halfway through 2025? Time is flying faster than a lead at a listing appointment—and that’s saying something!
This month, I want to talk to you about a trait that I see in the most resilient, forward-moving, and inspiring leaders I know: leaders are ADAPTABLE. Flexibility isn’t just a yoga pose; it’s a leadership superpower.
Let’s face it—the real estate world today looks very different from even six months ago. Between shifts in policy, interest rate roller coasters, lawsuit headlines, and new technology dropping faster than my phone in a parking lot, we are navigating serious change. And yet… here you are. Showing up. Still leading. Still learning. Still growing. That’s what adaptability looks like.
Adaptable leaders don’t panic when things change—they pivot. They don’t get paralyzed by uncertainty—they find creative solutions. And they don’t do it alone—they surround themselves with other adaptable thinkers who help them rise
If you’re feeling a little stretched thin right now, you’re not alone. But let me encourage you with three thoughts to help strengthen your adaptability muscles:
- Stay Curious – Instead of resisting change, ask questions. What is this challenge here to teach me? What’s one thing I can try differently this month?
- Be a Learner, Not a Knower – Experts become obsolete. Learners become legendary. Sign up for a class, dive into a book, or better yet, grab coffee with someone thriving right now and ask them how they’re doing it.
- Lead with Grace – Give grace to others navigating change—and yourself, too. Progress is messy. The best leaders show up with humility, humor, and heart.
This summer, whether you’re closing deals, navigating family vacations, or planning your next Misogi Challenge, remember: adaptability is your ally. You don’t have to have all the answers. You just have to keep showing up, growing up, and lifting others up.
So here’s your Coffee Talk call to action: take 10 minutes this week to journal about a time you were forced to adapt and came out better for it. What did you learn about yourself? What habits helped you? How can you apply that wisdom today?
And hey—if all else fails, add a scoop of ice cream to your iced coffee and call it a win. It’s the official drink of summer adaptability.

I’m sure by now you’ve heard about the big announcement with Canva and Keller Williams forming a technology partnership. If you’re like me, then you’re super excited about this not just from the cost savings standpoint, but for all the tools this will open up for us. This is kind of a big deal. Canva is no small thing, and they are not partnering with any other company in this way, and it will give you an edge you can use to save time and take more market share.
At this point we don’t have all the details (as they are exploring how all of it will connect), but at Mega Agent Camp this year they will be unveiling the fullness of how this flagship product will work. What we do know, is that it will be offered to all KW associates at no additional cost and will be a product unlike any other.
Here’s a few facts we can share about this partnership from the official FAQ:
Design Templates: Access to an extensive library of hundreds of bespoke templates designed by KW and Canva for everything from social media posts and marketing flyers to listing and buying presentations and yard signs, all behind one convenient login.
- AI-Powered Design: Canva’s AI features are used to generate and edit text, images, videos, and fully editable designs, further simplifying the creative process.
- Dynamic Marketing: Designs populate in Canva with KW-affiliated agent and MLS data to create hyper-targeted, client-specific content, streamlining customization and boosting marketing effectiveness.
- An Innovation Commitment: KW and Canva will continue to collaborate on world-class design templates and features tailored to the evolving needs of real estate professionals, ensuring KW-affiliated agents have the most effective tools to market their business.
- Customer Engagement Benefits: Create impactful marketing materials that will resonate with real estate clients and drive conversions, all powered by the combined strengths of KW and Canva.
